POLLUTEC - Accelerating the ecological transition
12-15 Oct. 2027

Nos engagements

Our commitments

We believe in the value of meeting

We are committed to providing events that have a positive impact for you, and the best experience possible.

In being aware of the social and environmental impact we have, we implement for the Pollutec a global responsibility policy focused on two main ambitions:

  • Minimising our environmental footprint
  • Increasing the event’s accessibility and inclusiveness even more

We are convinced that we are able to do increasingly better, and as such we follow a roadmap and bolster the actions we take with each edition.

A more sustainable event

So that Pollutec, is an event aligned with environmental concerns, we have one goal: Net Zero Carbone.

This requires better definition and management of resources our event needs to use at each stage of its life cycle.

As our parent companies RX and RELX have signed the Net Zero Carbon Events Pledge and the Climate Pledge we have made a strong commitment to halving our greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 and reaching Net Zero Carbon by 2040.

Responsible design and production

  • Focusing on reduced consumption: gradually reducing carpet and systematic recycling of leftover carpet, applying the UNIMEV business event’s energy saving plan, eliminating plastic consumables (bags, single-use plates and cutlery, bottles, goodies), water fountains provided. Remember to bring a water bottle.
  • Using reusable and recyclable materials such as cardboard and coated canvas for all public areas and signage.
  • An adapted catering offer: alternatives to red meat, plus vegetarian choices, at each catering point and for our cocktails..

Integrated waste management

  • Recycling and recovery: Systematic sorting and recycling of all materials that can be, with a target of increasing recycling and recovery by 5% at each edition.
  • A target of reducing waste by 10% at each edition compared to the previous one.
  • Support from a local partner to raise awareness with our exhibitors and their decorators about managing their waste and maximising collection for recycling.

An inclusive event

To make the Pollutec a magical moment, every person must be able to feel welcomed there as they are, with respect for others. We make sure we provide a quality experience for everyone, in a healthy, safe and secure environment.

A show accessible to as many people as possible

  •  Guaranteed disabled access to all stands
  • Taking into account the specific needs of our participants (access, noise and light levels, etc.)
  • If you need specific fittings, please, contact us

A respectful experience for all

We want everyone to have an inclusive experience that is respectful.

A socially and environmentally committed event, playing a role in transformation

Your industry is at the heart of societal issues. Our events are at the heart of your industry. We give you the keys so you can act towards more sustainability and inclusion.

  • Content dedicated to your sector’s societal and environmental issues
  • Diversity and representativeness guaranteed in speaker panels and in our content

An RX event

Together, better

With 15 sectors of activity and 30 emblematic shows nationally and internationally, RX France is the key player in the major events for these markets. This position requires us to be exemplary in terms of responsibility.

Our approach is structured by the commitments our parent companies RELX and RX have made, in aiming to reduce negative impacts while contributing positively to sustainable development.

Because we are responsible and socially and environmentally committed, we have a strong ambition: to act to support the UN Sustainable Development Goals which we can act on.
