Pollutec 2010 features an outstanding international range of equipment and services for the treatment of waste, cleaning, recycling and exploitation aimed at manufacturers, local authorities and building professionals.


WASTE AT POLLUTEC

> WASTE TREATMENT AND THE PROVISION OF SERVICES

All the major players in the collection and treatment of waste are to be found once again at this year’s Pollutec and they will be presenting their new solutions for the management and optimization of household and industrial waste. Alongside the service providers, there will also be a range of products from the manufacturers of buried containers.


> COLLECTION VEHICLES - TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS

A traditional feature of Pollutec Lyon, this sector is clustered around a major exhibition of equipment, vehicle bodies for household waste skips, lifter-tippers, on board weighing systems and the manufacturers of HGV chassis available today for the refuse collection market. This year there will be a space dedicated to the full range of refuse collection applications from the Mercedes range.



> RECYCLING AND THE EXPLOITATION OF MATERIALS

Packed with exhibits reflecting the latest regulations, the recycling and exploitation of materials sector once again stands out for the diversity of its offer in 2010, especially in terms of the recycling of motor vehicles and the automation and engineering of waste sorting. There will be numerous pieces of equipment and services for the recycling of scrap vehicles: grinders, crushers, presses, handling, decontamination stations… are all expected in the Recycling Village organized by FEDEREC.

The Recycling Village managed by FEDEREC (the federation of recycling companies) presents the profession, its know-how and its members in a pleasant atmosphere of meetings and discussions. The sector’s topical themes will be addressed in its conference space in a sequence running throughout the show: the waste framework decree, the decree on scrapped vehicles, saving rare earths, the sector’s economic balance, household packaging waste, etc.

> EXPLOITING WASTE FOR ENERGY

The incineration with exploitation of the energy value, the production of biogas (biogas from landfill and methane generation), the production of substitute fuels from household waste, wood energy are all promising alternative solutions that feature extensively at Pollutec.

> CLEANING - WATER CLEANSING

As a major meeting place for cleaning and water cleansing manufacturers, Pollutec is featuring specialists in sewerage and cleaning for towns and industrial sites by the entrance to the show in Hall 1. They will be showing a range extending from street sweepers, water cleansing trucks to high pressure cleaners…

Wood Industry is an area that is expanding at Pollutec: from its collection and chipping
to its exploitation for energy or as a raw material.
