Launch of 2016 edition

This French competition provides recognition for outstanding company actions and projects in the field of the environment. There are 5 categories: eco-product, innovation, circular economy, sustainable development and biodiversity.

The winners will benefit from official recognition for their project from the ministry and ADEME and through various communication activities (video reporting, website, press pack).

Sgolne Royal, the Minister of the Environment, Energy and the Sea, who is responsible for international climate relations, will present the winners with their awards at Pollutec.

Deadline to enter : 23rd September.

Appointment on Tuesday 29th November in the Plenary area.

5 categories

Eco-product for sustainable development

Products or services delivering advances in sustainable development.

In particular, efforts by the company to reduce the environmental impact throughout the life cycle of the product or service.

Technological innovation

Companies from all sectors including the eco-technology sector (water, waste, air, soils, energy performance, renewables, sustainable city...) that have launched a product, process or service innovation that has made a significant advance in an industry possible.

Circular economy

Companies planning and organizing their production, trade and consumption so as to minimize the net uptake of resources (fossil fuels, raw materials, water, land, habitats) and the emission of pollutants that have a negative impact on the environment and health, whether local or global.

Corporate integration of sustainable development

Companies implementing a management system or taking initiatives designed to promote sustainable development, including partnerships with organizations of any kind in developing countries.

Promoting biodiversity

Companies that develop best practices for the preservation or restoration of biodiversity.
Among these categories, projects that take up the challenge of fighting climate change will also receive recognition across all five categories, in line with the goals of COP 21 and in order to promote real solutions favouring the environment. .
